LED Display Price Guide

What an LED screen really costs per square meter, and how to compare quotes like a professional buyer

"How much does an LED display cost?" is the first question every buyer asks, and the honest answer is: it depends on the pixel pitch, the specification behind it and the project size. This guide gives the real numbers we work with, so you can plan a budget before asking for a quotation.

How much does an LED display cost per square meter?

As of 2026, factory-direct LED display prices at GTECH start at US$200 per square meter, with a typical range of US$200–600 per square meter across the full product line. The minimum order is 1 m². Fine pitch models (P0.9–P1.875) sit at the top of the range, and large-pitch outdoor models (P6–P10) at the entry level.

One thing to understand before comparing any quotes: LED displays are OEM products. Every project has its own specification — pitch, brightness, refresh rate, cabinet material, protection level and structure — and the final price follows that specification. A US$200 per m² screen and a US$600 per m² screen can look identical in a photo; the difference is in the components inside.

What decides the price of an LED screen?

These are the six factors that move the price of a LED video wall up or down. When you compare quotes from different suppliers, compare these six lines, not just the total.

Six factors that decide LED display cost
FactorHow it changes the price
Pixel pitchThe No. 1 cost driver. A P1.25 fine pitch screen packs 640,000 LED dots per m² — eight times more than a P3.5 screen — so every finer pitch step raises cost sharply.
Cabinet materialDie-cast aluminum cabinets are lighter and flatter than steel, and cost more. Rental screens need magnesium or aluminum for frequent touring.
BrightnessOutdoor screens need 5,000 nit or more to beat sunlight, which means higher-power LEDs and power supplies than an indoor 1,200 nit wall.
Refresh rateScreens for TV cameras and video need a 3,840 Hz refresh to stay flicker-free on camera; basic 1,920 Hz panels cost less.
ProtectionOutdoor screens need IP65 sealing on the front face against rain and dust. Sealed modules and waterproof cabling add material cost.
ShapeCustom projects — spheres, cylinders, stair treads, floor panels — carry engineering cost for curved structures and custom module layouts.

Screen price is not the whole project budget

The per-square-meter price covers the LED modules and cabinets. A complete installation budget has five parts:

1. LED screen — modules, cabinets, power supplies and receiving cards.
2. Control system — sending card, video processor and cabling; budget roughly US$500–2,000 depending on wall size.
3. Structure and installation — steel frame, wall attachment or roof structure, plus labor.
4. Freight and duties — sea freight for large orders, air freight for rush orders.
5. Spare parts — GTECH ships 1–3% spare modules with every order at no extra charge, so year-one maintenance is already covered.

How to get an accurate quotation

Send three numbers and you will get a usable quote within 24 hours: the screen size (width × height in meters), the closest viewing distance, and the application (indoor, outdoor, rental, on-camera). With those three, an engineer picks the pixel pitch — the 1 mm = 1 m rule in our viewing distance chart does most of the work — and prices the right specification.

Production takes 5–20 days depending on size and specification, rush orders are available, and every screen ships with a 5-year warranty.

Frequently asked questions

The price questions buyers ask most before ordering an LED display from GTECH.

What is the minimum order for an LED display?

One square meter. A 1 m² sample order is a normal way to test our quality before a larger project.

Is the US$200–600 per m² range the final price?

It is the factory-direct range for a specified screen. Every LED display is an OEM product, so the final price follows your specification — pitch, brightness, refresh rate, protection and structure. Send your project details for an exact quotation.

How long does an LED display order take?

5–20 days depending on size and specification, and rush orders are available for deadline projects.

What warranty comes with the screen?

Five years. Spare modules at 1–3% of the order quantity ship free with every screen.
